Hello! My name is Lauren, and I'm a recent Marketing graduate from the University of Texas at Austin. In the past couple of years, I've worked a multitude of jobs and internships in various fields of the music industry, including roles at TikTok, Sony Music, and C3 Presents. I have experience in digital marketing, sales strategy, live event production, concert photography, artist management, and more. I love music, and my goal is to work in marketing within the industry!
A few fun facts about me:
★ Some of my favorite bands/artists include: Pierce The Veil, The Maine, The Wombats, Radiohead, Taylor Swift, Waterparks, My Chemical Romance, Nirvana, Del Water Gap, IDKHOW But They Found Me, The Cure, and Mystery Jets.
★ I have 250+ Spotify playlists. I love making playlists for every mood, moment, event, and genre. I also exchange playlists with my friends- it's one of my favorite ways to find new music.
★ I shoot on a film camera for fun and now I'm addicted to taking film pictures of EVERYTHING I do.
★ I'm super involved in the local Austin music scene. I enjoy going to local shows and discovering artists like Yardsale!, Hall Johnson, The Irons, Susannah Joffe, Telecom, Valice, and Eli Josef. The scene is such a supportive and tight-knit community, and I've met some very hardworking and inspired individuals through it. Also, I get to go to super cool shows weekly!
★ I was a One Direction super-fan when I was about 13, and they were my very first concert on July 9th, 2015. That was the day I fell in love with the magic of live music and got hooked on going to shows as often as possible.
